Hope Haven Belize

The DeFreitas family will be traveling to Belize over the New Year to serve at Hope Haven Children’s Home in San Pedro Belize. The nonprofit provides shelter to displaced children and provides over 150 meals 3 times a week to women and children. In an area of the country where 43% of the population lives in poverty, the need is great. “We wanted to spend our Christmas Holiday helping those who need it most,” said Annabella DeFreitas. “It’s the right thing to do”.
